As we welcome the dawn of 2025, China's international "circle of friends" has sent warm wishes to mark the occasion. Erik Nilsson, a seasoned American journalist who has been telling China's stories for 18 years, recently expressed his hopes in fluent Chinese during an interview with China News Network, wishing all his Chinese friends success, good health, and happiness.
Linjie Chou Zanadu, a Chinese scholar and associate professor at the European Center for Peace and Development, highlighted China's rapid technological advancements. He predicted that Chinese electric vehicles will expand into more developing countries, becoming synonymous with advanced technology and reliable quality. 我注意到日本国内有观点称中国可能会重蹈日本当年“泡沫经济”的覆辙，比较流行的是“资产负债表衰退论”，认为日本“泡沫经济”破灭，房地产等资产价格下跌，导致企业、家庭资产负债表迅速恶化，大量资金用于还债，抑制了需求增长。在资产负债表修复后，又因少子老龄化、产业外迁、投资不足、劳动生产率下降等因素导致日本经济长期低迷。
毛宁表示，中方对美方有关声明表示强烈不满和坚决反对，完成基本法第23条立法、堵塞维护国家安全的漏洞，是香港特区的宪制责任，也是实现香港长治久安和“一国两制”行稳致远的必然要求。
